Visiting researcher: Dr. Massimiliano Ditroilo
The Faculty of Engineering is pleased to welcome Assistant Professor Dr. Massimiliano Ditroilo from the School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science at the University College Dublin.
Mr. Ditroilo’s research interests include neuromuscular function in sports performance, injury risk and ageing, he teaches Biomechanics, Research Methods, Exercise in the life span. He is visiting Prof. Dr. Alessandro Del Vecchio, Chair of Neuromuscular Physiology and Neural Interfacing, from 1 October until 30 October this year.
Professor Alessandro Del Vecchio and Assistant Professor Massimiliano Ditroilo are connected through a common interests in neuromuscular function in ageing and sport performance. They study the determinants of movement through common methods.
