Inside Diversity of Germany – German culture of regions and the nation.
The diversity and the unity of Germany are still a main issue of debates in German culture and society. Students from abroad ask themselves about this diversity and unity. How can you get more acquainted to this diversity of Bavaria and Berlin, Köln and Kiel, München and Magdeburg? This workshop will provide a two-days-introduction to different German cultures and identities. We’ll start with different German greetings, which can be essential to your communication with German people. Do eat all German only potatoes? Traditional food and entertainment will be discussed aside with the variety of new habits like Vegan, Organic and E-Mobility. And what’s about the generations in Germany and generation Z or “Letzte Generation” activists? Do you identify yourself as generation Z? Who’re the dangerous boomers?
